Oona Castilla Chaplin is a Spanish actress known for her roles in various TV series. She was born on June 4, 1986, in Madrid, Spain. Chaplin's notable TV appearances include Talisa Maegyr in the HBO series Game of Thrones, Kitty Trevelyan in the BBC drama The Crimson Field, and Zilpha Geary in the series Taboo. She comes from a renowned family, being the granddaughter of English filmmaker and actor Charlie Chaplin, and the great-granddaughter of Irish-American playwright Eugene O'Neill. Her mother is English-American actress Geraldine Chaplin, and her father is Chilean cinematographer Patricio Castilla. Chaplin showed a passion for dance from a young age, learning ballet, salsa, and flamenco. She spent her childhood in Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Cuba due to her mother's film career.
