Osvaldo Benavides

Osvaldo Benavides (born June 14, 1979) is a Mexican actor, writer, producer, and cinematographer. He began acting at the age of 9 and has participated in various musical theater productions. Benavides started his television career in the telenovela El abuelo y yo, alongside Gael García Bernal and Ludwika Paleta. He gained recognition for his role as Nandito in María la del Barrio, for which he won the 14th TVyNovelas Award for Best Young Lead Actor. He also appeared in Te sigo amando, for which he won the 16th TVyNovelas Award as Best Young Lead Actor. Benavides has also acted in the telenovela Preciosa and the film La primera noche.
