Owen Aaronovitch (born 1956) is an English actor known for his portrayal of Jon Lindsay in the popular television series Coronation Street. Born in Parliament Hill, London, Aaronovitch is the son of economist and communist Sam Aaronovitch and brother of journalist David Aaronovitch and writer Ben Aaronovitch. He attended Dame Alice Owen's School in Islington before moving to Newcastle to pursue his studies in creative arts. Aaronovitch is married to actress Fiona Bruce, with whom he has two children. Notably, it is often incorrectly reported that his wife is the newsreader and Antiques Roadshow presenter Fiona Bruce. Aaronovitch has an extensive theatre background and has appeared in productions such as The Great Gatsby, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pinocchio, The Waltz, and Red Dust Blue Dreams.
