He was a founding member of the band and provided lead vocals on albums like 'Paranoid,' 'Master of Reality,' and 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.' Osbourne earned the nickname 'Prince of Darkness' during this period. In 1979, he was fired from Black Sabbath due to alcohol and drug problems. Osbourne then embarked on a successful solo career, releasing 13 studio albums. He has also reunited with Black Sabbath multiple times.
