Patricia 'Paddy' Croft (July 1, 1923 – July 27, 2015) was an English-born Irish-American actress of stage and screen. Born in Worthing, West Sussex, England, Croft was known for her portrayal of Irish characters in various stage, film, and television productions. She was affiliated with the Irish Repertory Theatre in New York City, where she appeared in several notable productions, including a revival of Brian Friel's Philadelphia, Here I Come. Croft also had a presence on Broadway as a standby or understudy, often assuming lead roles when the main star departed. Her last role on Broadway was in The Dead in 2000. Croft's talent and performances were well-regarded throughout her career.
