Pamela Adlon (born July 6, 1966) is an American actress and voice artist. She gained recognition for her voice role as Bobby Hill in the animated series King of the Hill (1997–2010), winning a Primetime Emmy Award. Adlon has provided her voice for various characters, including Beau in Dexter's Laboratory (1996–2003), Baloo in Jungle Cubs (1996–1998), and Ashley Spinelli in Recess (1997–2001), among others. She has also appeared in the comedy-drama series Californication (2007–2014) and Louie (2010–2015), for which she received Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Adlon is best known for co-creating, writing, producing, directing, and starring as Sam Fox in the critically acclaimed FX series Better Things (2016–2022), which earned a Peabody Award.
