Pamela Reed is an American actress born on April 2, 1949, in Tacoma, Washington. She gained recognition for her role as Arnold Schwarzenegger's hypoglycemic police partner in the 1990 film Kindergarten Cop and as Gail Green in Jericho. Reed also played Marlene Griggs-Knope on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation and portrayed the exasperated wife in Bean. She received a B.F.A. from the University of Washington and has won awards including a Drama Desk Award and an Obie Award for her theater performances. Reed has appeared in notable films such as The Long Riders (1980), Kindergarten Cop (1990), and Proof of Life (2001).
