    Paolo Rotondo is a New Zealand director, writer, and actor of stage and screen. Born in Napoli, Italy, to a Neapolitan father and a New Zealand mother of Irish descent, Rotondo moved to New Zealand at the age of eleven. He gained recognition for his role as Andrew Solomon on the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street and has appeared in various television shows including Xena: Warrior Princess and When We Go to War. Rotondo released his debut feature film 'Orphans & Kingdoms' in 2016, which received critical acclaim. As a writer, he has penned scripts for film and theatre, including the New Zealand Film Commission-supported shorts 'The Freezer' and 'Dead Letters'.
