    Park Byung-eun is a South Korean actor born on July 14, 1977. He majored in drama at Chung-Ang University. Despite initially planning to debut as a singer with the boy group Taesaja in 1997, he changed his path due to his lack of confidence in singing. Park began his acting career in 2000 with a minor role in the TV series Mr. Duke. He gradually gained recognition through bit roles in films such as Sex Is Zero (2002), Princess Aurora (2005), and I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2005). In 2008, he landed his first major role in the drama film The Pit and the Pendulum Pit. Notably, Park's career expanded further with leading roles in films like One Line (2016) and TV series like Because This Is My First Life (2017) and Kingdom (2020). He continues to diversify his roles and recently appeared in the historical war epic The Great Battle (2018) and Kingdom: Ashin of the North (2021).
