    Park Jin-young, also known as J. Y. Park or JYP, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, record executive, and reality television show judge. Born on December 13, 1971, in Seoul, Park rose to fame with his 1994 debut album, 'Blue City.' In 1997, he founded JYP Entertainment, which has become one of South Korea's most successful entertainment agencies. During his tenure as the agency's head, Park has developed and managed numerous highly successful K-pop artists, including Rain, Wonder Girls, 2PM, Miss A, Got7, Day6, Twice, Stray Kids, Itzy, Xdinary Heroes, Nmixx, Boy Story, and NiziU. Park's international experience includes living in New York for three years during his childhood, where he attended high school before returning to Seoul.
