Park Overall

Park Overall (born March 15, 1957) is an American actress, political activist, and former U.S. Senate candidate. She is best known for her role as nurse Laverne Todd in the sitcom Empty Nest. Overall has also appeared in feature films such as Biloxi Blues, Mississippi Burning, Talk Radio, and In the Family. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee, Overall is the daughter of Thomas Wesley 'Jack' Overall Jr., a federal magistrate judge, and Frances Overall, a professor of English. She graduated from Tusculum University with a degree in English and later moved to New York to pursue an acting career.
