Parker Sawyers

Parker Sawyers (born May 24, 1983) is an American actor. He gained recognition for his portrayal of a young Barack Obama in the film Southside With You. Sawyers also appeared in Don't Hang Up as Mr. Lee. He showcased his talent as the Parisian jazz musician, Albert Fallou, in the BBC production World on Fire. Sawyers comes from a family with a strong background in public service, as his mother, Paula Parker-Sawyers (now Means), served as deputy mayor of Indianapolis from 1989 to 1991, and his father, James Sawyers, is a teacher and administrator.
