Pat Boone

Pat Boone (born June 1, 1934) is an American singer, actor, and composer. He rose to prominence in the 1950s and early 1960s as a successful pop singer, selling over 45 million records and achieving 38 Top 40 hits. Boone appeared in more than 12 Hollywood films and was ranked as the second-biggest-charting artist of the late 1950s by Billboard, behind only Elvis Presley. He hosted the popular ABC variety television series, The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom, for 115 episodes from 1957 to 1960. Boone's cover versions of rhythm and blues hits played a significant role in broadening their popularity. He remains a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
