Patricia Charbonneau Biography
Patricia Charbonneau (born April 19, 1959) is an American actress known for her role as Cay Rivvers in Desert Hearts (1985). She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for her performance. Charbonneau was born in Valley Stream, New York and is the youngest of 10 children. Her father is French and her mother is Austrian. She attended Valley Stream Central High School with actors Steve Buscemi and Steve Hytner. After a brief stint at Boston University, she joined the Lexington Conservatory Theatre company in the Catskills. Charbonneau moved to New York City at 19 and appeared in various productions, including The Revengers at Playwrights Horizons.
