Patricia Franklin Biography
Patricia Franklin (born 11 September 1942) is an English actress best known for her roles in five Carry On films. Born in East Finchley, London, Franklin joined the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and later attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She made her acting debut in an episode of At Last The 1948 Show in 1968 and went on to appear in the West End production of Uproar in the House. Franklin's breakthrough came when she was offered a role in Carry On Camping (1969) after being spotted by producer Peter Rogers. She portrayed a farmer's daughter in the film, which marked the beginning of her successful career in the Carry On series.
