Patrick Bauchau is a Belgian actor known for his roles in films such as A View to a Kill, The Rapture, and Panic Room. He has also made appearances on popular TV shows like The Pretender and House. Bauchau was born on December 6, 1938, in Brussels, Belgium. His parents were Mary, a Russian-born school administrator and publisher, and Henry Bauchau, a school administrator, lawyer, publisher, writer, and psychoanalyst. Raised in Belgium, Switzerland, and England, Bauchau attended Oxford University on an academic scholarship. He is fluent in German, French, English, Spanish, Italian, and has some knowledge of Russian and Dutch. Bauchau is married to Mijanou Bardot, the sister of model and actress Brigitte Bardot, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
