Patrick Doyle

Patrick Doyle (born 6 April 1953) is a Scottish composer and occasional actor who is best known for his film scores. With a career spanning 50 years in film, television, and theatre, Doyle has composed scores for over 60 feature films. He has collaborated extensively with actor-director Kenneth Branagh, working on films such as Henry V, Sense and Sensibility, Hamlet, and Cinderella. Doyle's work can also be heard in movies like Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor, Brave, and Murder on the Orient Express. He has received nominations for Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and BAFTA, winning the Ivor Novello Award for Best Film Theme for 'Henry V'. Doyle is highly regarded for his contributions to the world of film scoring and has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from various organizations.
