Patrick Godfrey Biography
Patrick Lindesay Archibald Godfrey (born 13 February 1933) is an English actor known for his work in film, television, and stage. He made his film debut in Miss Julie (1972) and went on to appear in numerous British films such as A Room with a View, The Remains of the Day, and Les Misérables. Godfrey also had notable television roles, including appearances in Doctor Who and Inspector Morse. In addition to his acting career, he joined the Radio Drama Company in 1956 and won the Carlton Hobbs Bursary. Godfrey is married to actress Amanda Walker since 20 April 1960 and they have two children, including their daughter Kate Godfrey, who is Head of Voice for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
