Patrick J. Adams is a Canadian actor and director, born on August 27, 1981, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Mike Ross, a college dropout turned unlicensed lawyer, in the USA Network's series Suits. In 2012, Adams received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at the 18th Screen Actors Guild Awards for his role in Suits. Adams attended Northern Secondary School in Toronto before moving to Los Angeles at age 19 to attend the University of Southern California, where he earned his BFA. He has also appeared in episodes of Cold Case, Pretty Little Liars, NCIS, and other TV shows.
