Patrick Massett (born March 6, 1962) is an American screenwriter and producer. He is best known for his work on the NBC drama series Friday Night Lights and the Syfy series Caprica. Massett frequently collaborates with his writing partner John Zinman. He has received four Writers Guild of America (WGA) Award nominations for his contributions to Friday Night Lights. In addition to his writing and producing career, Massett also had an acting role as the Klingon Duras, son of Ja'rod, in Star Trek: The Next Generation. He continues to be involved in the television industry and remains a respected figure in the field of screenwriting.
