Paul Adelstein (born April 29, 1969) is an American actor and writer. He is best known for his role as Agent Paul Kellerman in the Fox television series Prison Break and as pediatrician Cooper Freedman in the ABC medical drama Private Practice. Adelstein has also appeared in supporting roles in films such as Intolerable Cruelty and Memoirs of a Geisha. He has had recurring roles in TV shows including Scandal and Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. Adelstein co-created and wrote for the TV series Imposters, which aired on Bravo. He played the role of Shelley Cohen on that show. Adelstein was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.
