Paul Carafotes is an American actor known for his role as Harold Dyer in the television drama Knots Landing. Born on March 23, 1959, in Somerville, Massachusetts, Carafotes began his professional career at the age of 20 in the film Headin' for Broadway. He gained recognition for his performance as Ralph Morelli, a street kid from Philadelphia. Carafotes also starred in the drama Choices alongside Demi Moore and appeared in All the Right Moves as Vinnie Salvucci. In addition to his film work, Carafotes has also appeared in television, commercials, and on stage. He is a recipient of the L.A. Drama Critics Award for writing and starring in the play Beyond the Ring.
