Paul Dano Biography
Paul Franklin Dano is an American actor and director born on June 19, 1984. He began his career on Broadway and gained recognition for his role in L.I.E. (2001), winning the Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance. Dano became more widely known for his portrayal of a troubled teenager in Little Miss Sunshine (2006) and for playing identical twins in There Will Be Blood (2007), earning a BAFTA Award nomination. He received critical acclaim for his roles in 12 Years a Slave and Prisoners (both 2013) and a Golden Globe nomination for Love & Mercy (2014). Dano made his directorial debut with Wildlife (2018), and has appeared in recent films such as The Batman and The Fabelmans (2022).
