    Paul Fusco is an American puppeteer, actor, television producer, writer, and director. He is best known for his work on the sitcom ALF, where he served as the puppeteer and voice of the title character. Fusco also created, wrote, produced, and directed the show. Along with Tom Patchett and Bernie Brillstein, he formed the production company Alien Productions. Fusco created the ALF character in 1984 and pitched the idea for the sitcom to NBC's Brandon Tartikoff, which became a success. Additionally, Fusco created and produced two animated series for NBC: ALF: The Animated Series and ALF Tales.
