Paul Guilfoyle is an American television and film actor, born on April 28, 1949, in Boston, Massachusetts. He gained recognition for his role as Captain Jim Brass in the CBS crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which he portrayed from 2000 to 2014. Guilfoyle reprised his role for the series finale, 'Immortality,' in 2015 and also appeared in two episodes of the sequel CSI: Vegas. He attended Boston College High School and later graduated from Lehigh University in 1972. Guilfoyle has an extensive theatrical background, including performances on and off Broadway, with notable appearances in various productions, such as David Rabe's 'The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel,' David Mamet's 'Glengarry Glen Ross,' and more.
