Paul Hecht

Paul Hecht is an English-born Canadian actor known for his work in stage, film, and television. He was born on August 16, 1941, in London, England, and later graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in 1963. Hecht made his Broadway debut in 1968 and received a Tony Award nomination for his role in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. His other Broadway credits include 1776, The Rothschilds, and Noises Off, among others. He received an Obie Award for his performance in Enrico IV. Hecht has also lent his voice to various projects, including the animated film My Dog Tulip and the radio drama adaptions of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
