Paul Kreppel Biography
Paul Kreppel (born June 20, 1947) is an American actor and director. He gained fame for his role as pianist Sonny Mann on the television show It's a Living. Kreppel began his acting career with the improvisational theater group, The Proposition, alongside notable actors Jane Curtin, Josh Mostel, Judith Kahan, and Munson Hicks. He later starred in off-Broadway plays such as Godspell and Tuscaloosa's Calling Me... Kreppel also appeared at the New York Shakespeare Festival, where he starred opposite Meryl Streep in the musical Alice in Concert. He received the 2007 Tony Award for his work as a theater director-producer-creator on Jay Johnson: The Two and Only.
