Paul Lieberstein

Paul Lieberstein is an American actor, screenwriter, television director, and television producer. Born on February 22, 1967, in West Hartford, Connecticut, Lieberstein is best known for his role as Toby Flenderson on the NBC sitcom The Office. He also served as the showrunner of the series from seasons five to eight. Lieberstein attended Conard High School, where he wrote his first sitcom and played the vibraphone in the band. He later attended Hamilton College, graduating with a major in economics. After college, Lieberstein moved to New York City, where he worked as an auditor at Peat Marwick International before pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.
