Paul Petersen, born William Paul Petersen on September 23, 1945, is an American actor, singer, novelist, and activist. He gained fame in the 1950s for his role as Jeff Stone on the popular TV show The Donna Reed Show. In the 1960s, he pursued a singing career and later had a recurring role as a police officer on Matt Houston in the 1980s. Petersen also appeared in the film Mommy's Day in the late 1990s. Beyond his acting and singing career, Petersen is known for his activism. In 1990, he founded A Minor Consideration, an organization that provides support and resources for child stars and child laborers in crisis.
