Paul Anthony Ronan (born 21 March 1965) is an Irish actor known for his work in TV and films. He began his acting career in 1995 and has been a regular performer ever since. Ronan gained recognition for his role as Edso Dowling in the Ballykissangel TV series. He has also appeared in other TV shows such as Rebel Heart and The Tudors. In addition to his acting career, Ronan is known for his personal life. He married Monica Brennan in 1992 and together they have a daughter named Saoirse Ronan, who is also an actress.
