Paul Simon

Paul Frederic Simon is an American singer-songwriter known for his six-decade-long career in the music industry. Born on October 13, 1941, in New Jersey, Simon grew up in Queens, New York City. He developed an interest in rock music during his teenage years. In 1956, Simon began performing with his school friend Art Garfunkel, and together they achieved fame as the duo Simon & Garfunkel. Their folk and rock sound became iconic, with hits such as 'The Sound of Silence,' 'Mrs. Robinson,' 'America,' and 'The Boxer.' After the duo disbanded, Simon pursued a solo career, exploring various genres like gospel, reggae, and soul.
