Paul Stanley (born Stanley Bert Eisen; January 20, 1952) is an American musician, co-founder, frontman, rhythm guitarist, and co-lead vocalist of the hard rock band Kiss (KISS). He is known for writing or co-writing many of the band's popular songs. Stanley established The Starchild character for his Kiss persona. In 2014, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Kiss. Stanley has been recognized by industry publications, including Hit Parader ranking him 18th on their list of the Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time in 2006, and Gibson.com readers' poll naming him 13th on their list of Top 25 Frontmen in 2010.
