Pauline Fleming

Pauline Fleming (born 1960) is an English actress known for her roles in both theater and television. Born in Liverpool, Lancashire, Fleming trained at the Elliot Clarke School of Dance and Drama before embarking on a successful acting career. Her theater credits include appearances in Alan Ayckbourne's Chorus of Disapproval and Kaboodles Production of Twelfth Night. Fleming has also toured extensively with Children's Theatre productions in the UK, Ireland, and Europe. On television, she has appeared in popular shows such as Heartbeat, Doctors, and BBC's Nice Guy Eddie. However, she is most recognized for her roles as Val Walker in Channel 4's Brookside and Penny King in ITV's long-running soap opera.
