Pearl Thusi

Pearl Thusi, born on May 13, 1988, is a South African actress, model, and presenter. She gained recognition for her roles in various TV shows and movies. Notably, she portrayed Patricia Kopong in the BBC/HBO comedy-drama series The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency and Dayana Mampasi in the ABC thriller Quantico. Additionally, Thusi appeared in the romance film Catching Feelings as Samkelo. In 2020, she starred in the title role of Netflix's first African original series, Queen Sono. Besides her acting career, Thusi has hosted Lip Sync Battle Africa on MTV and e.tv, as well as the talk show Moments on EbonyLife TV. She also had prominent roles in the soap opera Isidingo and the celebrity gossip magazine show Real Goboza.
