Florence Margaret "Peggy" Pope (May 15, 1929 – May 27, 2020) was an American actress of stage, television, and film. Born in Montclair, New Jersey, Pope's acting career spanned many years. She made numerous television appearances in shows like The Trials of O'Brien, Bewitched, and Barney Miller. Pope is most recognized for her role as Margaret Foster, the office lush and recovering alcoholic, in the 1980 movie 9 to 5. She also appeared in films such as The Last Starfighter and Once Bitten. On Broadway, she had notable credits including Doctor Jazz, The School for Wives, and Harvey. Peggy Pope passed away on May 27, 2020.
