Pekka Strang

Pekka Kristian Strang (born July 23, 1977) is a Finland-Swedish actor and former artistic director of Lilla Teatern in Helsinki (2005–2014). He grew up in Vaasa on the Finnish west coast and attended the Theatre Academy of Finland, graduating in 2001. Strang made his film debut in 2001 with the movie 'Drakarna över Helsingfors' (English title: 'Kites over Helsinki') and later appeared in 'Producing Adults' (2004). He gained recognition for portraying the titular character in the 2017 film 'Tom of Finland' directed by Dome Karukoski. Strang also lent his voice to the Swedish actor of The Hemulen in the Finnish-British animated television drama 'Moominvalley' (2019–). In 2021, he played the main role in the music video for the song 'Moonlight Rendezvous' by Beast in Black.
