Penelope Ann Miller is an American actress, born on January 13, 1964, in Los Angeles, California. She gained recognition for her work on Broadway, receiving a Tony Award nomination for the revival of 'Our Town' in 1989. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Miller appeared in numerous Hollywood films, such as 'Adventures in Babysitting' (1987), 'The Freshman' (1990), and 'Carlito's Way' (1993), earning a Golden Globe Award nomination for the latter. She also starred in 'The Relic' (1997) and had supporting roles in 'Chaplin' (1992), 'Along Came a Spider' (2001), and 'The Artist' (2011). Miller made a return to Broadway in 1995 with the original production of 'On the Waterfront'.
