Penny Fuller is an American actress known for her work on stage and television. She was born in Durham, North Carolina, and attended Lumberton High School and Northwestern University. Fuller made her Broadway debut in 1962 and gained recognition for her role as Eve Harrington in the musical Applause (1970–1972), for which she received a Tony Award nomination. She also received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in The Dinner Party (2001). On television, Fuller earned six Emmy Award nominations and won in 1982 for her portrayal of Madge Kendal in The Elephant Man. Throughout her career, Fuller has showcased her talent and versatility in various productions and continues to be a respected figure in the entertainment industry.
