Pepe Serna Biography
Pepe Serna (born July 23, 1944) is an American film and television actor and artist. He first gained recognition in 1970 with his role in the film The Student Nurses directed by Roger Corman. With over 100 film appearances, Serna has established himself as a versatile actor. Notable among his roles is his portrayal of a lowrider-driving criminal in the comedy blockbuster The Jerk, where he cons Steve Martin's character. Serna is most recognized for his role as Tony Montana's friend Angel Fernandez in Scarface, directed by Brian De Palma. In addition to his film work, he has appeared on stage, including his solo show El Ruco, Chuco, Cholo, Pachuco, which explores Latino cultural history.
