Peter Bergman

Peter Michael Bergman (born June 11, 1953) is an American actor known for his roles on soap operas. He portrayed Cliff Warner on All My Children (1979–89) on ABC and Jack Abbott on The Young and the Restless (1989–present) on CBS. Born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Walter Bergman, a U.S. Navy officer, Bergman graduated from Crossland Senior High School in Maryland. He was married to actress Christine Ebersole (1976–1981) and later to Mariellen, with whom he has two children. Bergman initially auditioned for the role of Dr. Jeff Martin on All My Children but gained recognition as Dr. Cliff Warner. In a Vicks Formula 44 cough syrup campaign in 1986, Bergman appeared in commercials.
