Peter Bryant Biography
Peter Bryant (27 October 1923 – 19 May 2006) was an English television producer, script editor, and former actor. He began his career as an actor, appearing in the 1950s soap opera The Grove Family. Later, he transitioned to working behind the scenes and became a BBC Radio announcer and scriptwriter. In 1967, he joined the television industry as a script editor for Doctor Who, working alongside Gerry Davis. He eventually became the producer of the series from 1967 to 1969, during Patrick Troughton's tenure as the Second Doctor. Bryant also produced the series Paul Temple before transitioning to a career as a literary agent.
