Peter Buck

Peter Lawrence Buck (born December 6, 1956) is an American musician and songwriter. He gained fame as the co-founder and lead guitarist of the alternative rock band R.E.M. Buck's guitar playing style, characterized by jangly and melodic riffs, contributed to the distinctive sound of the band. In addition to his work with R.E.M., Buck has been involved in various side projects and collaborated with numerous artists. These include Arthur Buck (with Joseph Arthur), Hindu Love Gods, The Minus 5, Tuatara, The Baseball Project, Robyn Hitchcock and the Venus 3, Tired Pony, The No-Ones, Filthy Friends, and more. Buck's contributions to the music industry have solidified his status as a highly respected and influential musician.
