Peter Cellier Biography
Peter Cellier (born 12 July 1928) is an English actor known for his appearances on film, stage, and television. He gained recognition for his role as Sir Frank Gordon in the popular British sitcoms Yes Minister and Yes, Prime Minister during the 1980s. Born into a family of actors in Hendon, Middlesex, Cellier started his career at the Leatherhead Theatre in 1953. He has performed in various Shakespeare plays at notable theaters such as Stratford-on-Avon, The Old Vic, and the Chichester Festival Theatre. Cellier is also a founding member of the National Theatre and has appeared in a wide range of roles throughout his career.
