    Peter Coonan is an Irish actor, born in 1984. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Fran Cooney in the RTÉ One series Love/Hate, earning him the Best Actor in a Supporting Role - Television award at the 11th Irish Film & Television Awards. Coonan also appeared as Dave 'Dots' Fennel in the Irish crime film Between the Canals in 2011. In addition to his acting career, Coonan has a personal life that includes his relationship with girlfriend Kim O'Driscoll. They welcomed their first child, Beth, at the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin in May 2014, and got engaged in 2015. In 2017, their daughter Katie was born.
