Peter Dinklage

Peter Hayden Dinklage (born June 11, 1969) is an American actor known for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister on the HBO television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019). He has won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series four times, setting a record. Dinklage also received a Golden Globe Award in 2011 and a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2020 for his role on the show. Standing at 4ft 5in tall, Dinklage has achondroplasia, a common form of dwarfism. He has used his celebrity status to raise social awareness about dwarfs. Dinklage made his film debut in the black comedy Living in Oblivion (1995) and gained recognition for his starring role in the comedy-drama The Station Agent (2003). His other notable films include Elf (2003), Lassie (2005), Find Me Guilty (2006), Penelope (2006), Underdog (2007), and Death at a Funeral (2007).
