Peter William Krause (born August 12, 1965) is an American actor, director, and producer. He is best known for his lead roles in several television series, including Casey McCall on Sports Night (1998–2000), Nate Fisher on Six Feet Under (2001–2005), Nick George on Dirty Sexy Money (2007–2009), Adam Braverman on Parenthood (2010–2015), Benjamin Jones on The Catch (2016–2017), and Bobby Nash on 9-1-1 (2018–2023). Krause has received critical acclaim for his performances and has been nominated for numerous awards, including three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and seven Screen Actors Guild Awards. Born in Alexandria, Minnesota, Krause grew up in Roseville and was active in track and field and gymnastics during his teenage years.
