Peter Macon is an American actor known for his role as Lt. Commander Bortus in the Fox/Hulu television series The Orville. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Macon attended North Community High School where he developed a passion for acting. He later attended the San Francisco Art Institute and the Yale School of Drama, earning a master's degree in acting.
