Peter Polycarpou is an English-Cypriot actor known for his roles in both television and stage productions. He gained popularity for his portrayal of Chris Theodopolopodous in the television comedy series Birds of a Feather. Another notable television role was that of Louis Charalambos in The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies. In film, Polycarpou has appeared in movies such as Evita, alongside Madonna, as well as Oklahoma! and De-Lovely. On stage, he originated the role of John in the musical Miss Saigon in London. He was also part of the original cast of Les Misérables, playing the roles of Jean Prouvaire, Grantaire, and Thénardier. Polycarpou has showcased his talent in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, portraying The Phantom.
