Peter Spears (born November 29, 1965) is an American actor and filmmaker from Kansas City, Missouri. He gained recognition for his work as a producer, winning an Oscar for the film Nomadland at the 93rd Academy Awards in 2021. He also produced the acclaimed film Call Me by Your Name, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. Spears has directed the underground short film Ernest and Bertram, known for its portrayal of Sesame Street characters in a parody of The Children's Hour. Additionally, he developed the television series Nightmare Café and John from Cincinnati. In 2020, Spears established the production company Cor Cordium, with various projects in development, including Bones and All.
