Peter Weller

Peter Frederick Weller (born June 24, 1947) is an American actor, art historian, and television director. With over 70 film and television appearances, Weller has showcased his versatile acting skills. He is best known for his portrayal of the titular character in the iconic films RoboCop (1987) and RoboCop 2 (1990). His other notable film credits include The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), Mighty Aphrodite (1995), The New Age (1994), and Naked Lunch (1991). Weller's talent has been recognized with a Saturn Award nomination for his role in RoboCop and an Academy Award nomination for his short film Partners. He has also made his mark on television, hosting the History Channel program Engineering an Empire and appearing in shows like 24 and Dexter.
